He finds his missing items in his pants that were abandoned when he originally changed into the bunny in his bathroom. He holds them up victoriously then goes to where a piece of paper is laying.

He stuffs them in his pocket and pulls up the water color painting he made. "I painted this for you." He brings it over and holds it out with a bright smile. "Remember when we were discussing the letters and you told me I couldn't draw rabbits for anyone else. I had to learn how to draw monkeys to put on the letters. So..I painted you my first one."

The watercolor is an image of a monkey sitting in a tree, pretty little red flowers around him and one in his hand. He knows he doesn't actually have to draw monkeys on the notes, but he still felt the need to paint pictures for both Lan Wangji's.
