Wei Ying being excited about doing something for the wedding tugs at Wangji's heartstrings, makes him glad that he's hearing this from Wei Ying while he's drunk and speaking honestly. He'd maybe had doubts that Wei Ying would want to marry him, to pledge his love for him, and even so, to then want to spend the rest of their lives together.

"Do you want to try on more clothes, Wei Ying?" he asks, wondering if he might be ready to go up and retire for the night instead, as it is getting quite late and he would miss having his blanket.

He wouldn't rush Wei Ying though, not for the topic of their wedding, anyway.
