The long ponytail is almost ridiculous in length and thickness but that's one reason why he chooses to put it up in such a way. It's far too much hair to leave down like his soul twin. He did that once..when he was the Yiling Patriarch and he'd rather not repeat those days for a number of reasons. Lil' Apple is now perfectly content with the attention he is getting.
