Wei Wuxian crawls over when that hand takes his. He moves into the other man's lap and curls up against him. He doesn't think about the fact the added weight of the tails might make him heavier as he settles there in his arms.

"We're not supposed to have any secrets, Lan Zhan. If I did something to make you have all these doubts then you're supposed to tell me."

Wei Wuxian is incredibly observant at times, and terribly naive and clueless at others. He spent most of his life never realizing Lan Wangji's feelings. Which means even now he has a hard time noticing when the other is upset with him.

"I love you and I don't want to do something that hurts you."

He tucks his face against Lan Wangji's neck. The man is allowed to be angry or sad or frustrated with him. All those emotions are important and Wei Wuxian wants to be able to soothe them away not be the cause of them.

"But I also love the other you, and you love the other me. And we both have to accept that as well even if that love can't compare to what we have."
