Wei Wuxian feels a little bit of a wobble in his heart as he doesn't get the 'I love you' returned back to him. But he pushes it aside because he knows that Lan Wangji does even if he doesn't say it back every time. He knows he can't be fussy about such things when they have had such a delicate conversation and fight. But to receive a 'thank you' as a response just stings a little bit.
