He lays his head on Lan Wangji's shoulder and stares into the flames. He brings one of the crackers up and nibbles on it. He wishes they had more information about this place and the queen but that seems impossible. And all his attempts at getting more has ended up badly for him. So it is starting to make him hesitate about trying to gain anything else.

"Or course we will. Because we are stronger together."

And soon they will be bound together and destined to stand side by side for all eternity. He looks forward to that day.
